Johan Cruyff


Johan Cruyff (in Hebrew: יוהאן קרויף) Dutch professional football player and manager. Three-time Ballon d'Or winner and pioneer of the 'Total Football' philosophy.

Hendrik Johannes Cruijff (April 25, 1947 - March 24, 2016) was a Dutch professional football player and manager.

As a player, he won the Ballon d'Or three times and led Ajax to three consecutive European Cups. He was the focal point of Rinus Michels' Total Football system.

As a manager, Cruyff built the legendary FC Barcelona 'Dream Team' that won the club's first European Cup in 1992, profoundly influencing modern football tactics.
