Tel Aviv Jaffa (in Hebrew: תל אביב יפו) is the second most populous city in Israel and the main city in Gush Dan.

Tel Aviv hosts the largest Israeli newspaper systems, banking centers and most of the foreign embassies.

In the past, Tel Aviv was a suburb that laid outside the walls of Jaffa and was called "Hazuat Bait". It was founded as a city in 1909.
