Banana (in Hebrew: בננה) A banana is an elongated, edible fruit produced by several kinds of large herbaceous flowering plants in the genus Musa.
Bananas are grown in at least 107 countries, primarily for their fruit, and to a lesser extent to make fiber and banana wine.
They are an excellent source of potassium, vitamin B6, and dietary fiber, supporting muscular and heart function.
The Cavendish banana is the most widely exported variety globally.
